RENAVE

RENAVE now covers every car on the lot

Contran Resolution No. 1,026/2026, published on 06/30/2026, extended the National Registry of Vehicles in Stock to the whole of Brazil and to used and pre-owned cars. Here is what changed, what your dealership needs and where CarOffice fits in.

What changed

Four changes that reshape the routine

End of the article 330 ledger

The entry and exit ledger required by article 330 of the Brazilian Traffic Code no longer exists. Control is now electronic, through RENAVE.

Used and pre-owned included

Every vehicle entering or leaving stock, new or used, must be recorded in the national system.

Consignment with an electronic contract

Consigned cars require an electronic contract with an advanced or qualified electronic signature.

Schedule until 11/20/2026

The compliance period ended on 09/28/2026. Senatran Circular No. 2 staged the next steps until 11/20/2026.

What the dealership needs

Four requirements before the first operation

These steps belong to the dealership and apply with any system. CarOffice helps you check each one.

Vehicle retail activity code

The company's main registered activity (CNAE) must be vehicle retail.

e-CNPJ A1 certificate

The company's A1 digital certificate, issued by a certificate authority.

Credencia enrollment

Registering the dealership in Credencia, the Senatran accreditation platform.

Link to an integrator

The dealership appoints an integrator authorized by Senatran, which performs the RENAVE operations.

How CarOffice works

CarOffice connects. The authorized integrator records.

The rule is clear: companies that develop dealership management systems cannot be integrators. CarOffice respects this from the start and works with an integrator authorized by Senatran.

Stage 1 The document cockpit is on the stage 1 roadmap.

  • The dealership chooses and hires the authorized integrator; CarOffice connects to it.
  • Vehicle entries and exits start from the car record, with no retyping.
  • Each operation is recorded on the vehicle, with its status, receipt and who did it.
  • Open items and deadlines show up in the document cockpit before they become problems.
  • Consignment comes with an electronic contract signed through Ravisign.
Costs

Every cost in its place, always itemized

Nothing hidden inside a bundle: the invoice shows what belongs to CarOffice, to the integrator and to the state.
